Project Summary:
AIM is building a development team to architect and develop a set of APIs that are 3rd party accessible using the SMART on FHIR protocols for our Healthcare Information Technology client. FHIR is Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources, a standard describing data formats/elements and APIs for exchanging electronic health records. AIM will be using a 2-week sprint scrum process and using ATDD (Acceptance-Test Driven Development) methodology for this project. The overall program is an application modernization effort with the initial focus of developing services capable of authenticating third-party applications and users. The API development will be focused on third-party customer needs and the foundational relevant components of the FHIR protocol. AIM will be building these services using NodeJS and AWS Lambdas.
