Big Data Engineering & Architect Consultant
Your challenges
As part of our Applied Intelligence practice, you will provide data-driven solutions to help customers address complex business issues.
As part of a highly specialised and multidisciplinary team, you will:
Manage Data Management preparation, availability verification, quality, usability, integration, analysis, and presentation
Design and analyse data architectures using classical relational and non-relational approaches
Monitor and define application patterns by managing processes and identifying opportunities and data platform linking risks
Design and implement a data platform structure, coordinating all activities such as data modelling and application tuning in the various integration, storage, and usage components
Document functional requirements, detailed systems and project specifications for ongoing and proposed projects
Be a reference point for the customer, by continually updating the architectural database, and evaluating products, services or suppliers

One to five years’ experience as data engineer or data architect
Knowledge of modelling, Rdbms (Oracle, MSSQL, Data storage MAG), nosql (MongoDB, Couchbase, Riak, Azure, Google, Amazon, Neo4) and integrative patterns
Expertise in architectural design of data solutions and complex software
Experience on Big Data technologies (Hive, Impala, Spark, Cloudera, Scala, Hortonworks, Mongo DB) in ETL and Data Integration (e.g. Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, Talend, IBM Datastage, etc.).
Proven ability to design and build solutions in DWH, Big Data, Data Discovery and Analytics areas
A STEM degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Science and Engineering such as Maths, Physics, Bioengineering etc). A PhD will be considered a plus
You speak and write English fluently
