What You Will Be Doing:
Testing new website builds and updates
Manually test all stages of project–design, development, UAT, release
Test as website visitor by verifying layout and functionality in all supported browsers
Test as website editor by customizing pages in the CMS application
Provide bug reports, track issues, and work with the development team to verify fixes
Use tools to scan for issues with SEO and accessibility
Testing entire websites to identify critical problems:
Provide time estimate, create test plan, perform manual testing
Write detailed bug reports, track outstanding issues, and verify fixes
Use web scanning tools to identify and report issues with links and assets across the entire site
Track and prioritize your time and tasks across multiple teams with multiple Jira boards and sprints
Work with project managers and solution leads to set priorities, define test requirements and ensure each project receives the best possible testing within the client’s budget
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies, especially in the areas of SEO, performance, and accessibility
As requested, research and determine how to test a variety of web technologies such as Google Analytics, email services, Salesforce integration, geolocation, social media, and more
What You Need:
5+ years of experience in software Quality Assurance (QA) testing
5+ years of experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test procedures, or user stories
5+ years of experience with acceptance, functional, regression, and smoke testing
Strong experience with issue tracking software such as Jira
Strong experience testing for a software development team that built websites or web applications using front and back-end technologies.
Highly proficiency testing popular web browsers on desktop and mobile devices
Able to communicate effectively with the development team to understanding functionality and provide bug reports
Ability to independently and collaboratively troubleshoot, research, and learn new methods and technologies
Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines in a faced-paced environment
What We’d Like to Find:
Experience testing websites in a Content Management System (CMS) like Kentico, Sitecore, or Sitefinity
Competence using automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
Experience testing in an agile environment using Scrum
Experience working in an agency
Experience with security testing (penetration testing for vulnerabilities to code injection or modification)
Experience with performance testing, SEO, and accessibility
