Role: Senior Technical Product Manager
Please note: this role will be a 6 month contract to full time hire position. Austria, Croatia, Italy and Ireland preferred locations in Europe.

Community is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to drive the vision and execution of our Platform roadmap. Our Platform team ensures that we continually innovate and rapidly scale while maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and stability of our product. Your work will impact the most influential people in the world, allowing them to reach tens of millions of members in their communities.
You will serve as the Europe representative of Community’s Product team and have an opportunity to drive change at a rapidly growing organization, partnering with an innovative engineering team and closely collaborating with leadership.
What you'll do
Drive product development ranging from small features to entirely new services, translating product vision into technical solutions.
Provide business context, clear guidance, and success criteria for new product features; serve as the voice of the customer for engineers.
Champion products and features from conception to implementation; working with multiple teams and stakeholders to navigate tradeoffs and deliver value.
Collaborate with other product managers and stakeholders in the organization to gather requirements, triage cross-team projects, and make prioritization decisions.
Exhibit sound product sense, formulate product strategy, and advocate for a cross-platform vision that aligns with the company’s mission, business goals, and objectives.
Deeply understand the needs and behaviors of our users, and generate actionable insights through qualitative and quantitative research to drive product strategy.
What you'll bring
5+ years of relevant experience in Product Management
BS in Computer Science or relevant technical experience (you’ll need to dive deep into complex technical problems with engineering)
Experience developing large scale platforms and infrastructure, particularly in the Enterprise B2B/B2C SaaS space
An ability to garner respect and collaborate within a high-performing team of senior engineers
Expert organizational skills to juggle several tasks with competing deadlines and priorities
Ability to move easily between long-term goals and day-to-day execution, keeping teams focused on what has the greatest impact right now
Deep problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to break down complex problems into actionable next steps and to back up assumptions with data
Skill to lead teams while working with cross-functional groups in multiple geographies to deliver across numerous projects
High EQ with excellent written and oral communication skills - a team player
A strong ability to empathize with, anticipate the needs of, and effectively collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders
Ability to weigh technical and scaling concerns against user experience and design decisions
Bonus if you have
Proficiency in working with APIs, SDKs, PaaS, DevOps, and monitoring tools
Prior experience as Software Engineer, Systems Engineer or infrastructure related that has transitioned into Technical Product Management
