JOB SUMMARY: The Data Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing , implementing, and supporting OSIS application interfaces and integration solutions for our NextGen customers . Job activities include NextGen application integration , interface and database development and troubleshooting. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The responsibilities listed are fundamental to the position and must be performed successfully to achieve the key performance objectives of the role. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Develops testing and audit policies and assists end users in implementing auditing controls to ensure that defined, mission-critical interfaces are passing data accurately
  • Analyzes requirements and helps define integration and interface specifications
  • Builds, configures, and maintains interfaces
  • Conducts testing of all mapping, translation and transformation routines prior to moving interfaces into production
  • Maintains technical artifacts, interface documentation, and topology diagrams
  • Performs analysis and troubleshooting of integration related issues
  • Assists with QA testing, developing and executing test cases
  • Receives escalated tickets; resolves or escalates tickets based on customer need and application issues; communicates tasks that need to be completed to resolve customer issues with other internal resources as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. WORK ENVIR O NMENT: This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, copy machines and filing cabinets. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. TRAVEL: This position may require up to 5 % travel. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BS degree in Computer S cience or Computer Engineering , or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with NextGen

  • Minimum 5 years developing interfaces using NextGen/ Mirth Connect and Rosetta

  • Minimum 5 years working with Relational Databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 + year s of experience with the following:

  • Inbound and outbound data integration involving XML, XSLT, JSON and other structured data being transmitted via FTP, RESTful S ervices and SOAP

  • Electronic interface security

  • JavaScript and JSON

  • HL7 and EDI X12

  • MS SQL Server, TSQL, Views, Stored Procedures

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

TELECOMMUTING AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Dedicated home office space with high speed internet (if remote employee). Must have:

  • Perform system level design, integration and test to verify full system functionality
  • Produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
  • Implementing automated continuous integration and test environments and tools
