Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Tech Writer with Healthcare Experience in Jacksonville, FL. This position is 100% open to remote work. Overview: The IT Technical Writer will be responsible for development/creation of specialized technical documents to support client's Medicare's digital platforms deployment and ongoing maintenance. The position will develop deliverable to support internal teams (i.e. Provider Engagement, Network, Marketing and Communications, Clinical Operations, STARS and Risk, Sales, etc.) as well as external facing technical documentation for provider communications, on-boarding and ongoing training. The purpose of this new job is to understand the documentation needs for a successful digitally enabled health plan implementation and then create/maintain/support such documents completely and independently without any guidance. Essential functions: - Interview SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), Technical Lead/Architect, Product Owner, Business Stakeholders, to learn about the digital platforms intended use and capabilities in order to determine/establish a set of technical documents that will be needed for a successful implementation; Including but not limited to, communication, on-boarding, training and maintenance

  • Identify common user scenarios; Apply critical thinking about types of information and delivery methods end users need to be successful; plan and design supporting user assistance
  • Gather/research/analyze required inputs and artifacts from SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), Technical Lead/Architect, Product Owner, Business Stakeholders, software developers, QA Analysts, Project Consultants and use that to design, develop and publish the identified set of technical documents; Coordinate technical and quality assurance reviews to ensure the quality of the deliverables
  • Manage distribution and review of documents for on-boarding, training and ongoing maintenance

Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS:

  • Related Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Information Systems or the equivalent or relevant work experience
  • 5-8 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience in Customer Service supporting internal or external customers
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Architecture background - understanding services, databases, understanding symbols for displaying architecture information
  • Must have - strong Healthcare background
  • Versed in product documentation
  • Strong technical writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to organize and create smart structured digital content with embedded linked topics
  • Strong written communication, oral communication, inter-personnel skills with attention to details
  • Strong analytical/problem solving and organization skills
  • Thorough understanding of technical aspects of computer applications, data exchange, integrations, XMLs, web services, authentication, user experience, and more
  • Highly self-motivated, independent and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies
  • Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive timelines
  • Must be able to present a portfolio of writing samples and/or previous work experience
  • Health care industry experience
  • Experience doing technical analysis/documentation work
  • Excellent Visio skills, data-flow diagrams
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Visualization ability to translate information from charts
  • Analytical abilities for coordinating with several teams
