Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Delivery Manager to join our team to be responsible for the management of complex end-to-end technological projects from inception and requirements definition through to delivery. You will be working closely with our team and alongside a world class design agency, to launch and maintain a meditation and lifestyle application and other digital products. You will play a very hands-on role in defining the solution and seeing each and every detail through to a successful delivery. This role can be remotely based and reports to the team lead in the Czech Republic.

About You

You are a customer focused, effective, detail oriented project/delivery manager who tackles complex problems with systems thinking and the big picture in mind. You have experience with various digital initiatives and development of mobile products and services. You have experience managing projects using agile methodology. You can be the bridge between designers and developers, making sure that everyone is heard and knows what needs to be done.

Key Competencies

Stakeholder management

Able to successfully manage multiple suppliers and partners to ensure the best outcome for the project. Keeps stakeholders informed of project progress at all times and manages expectations proactively.

Scope management

Defines and agrees the scope of work internally with project owners. Ensures projects are delivered within agreed scope and raises change requests appropriately. Able to manage colleagues and stakeholders assertively.

Risk management

Proactively identifies, manages and mitigates risk on a project.

Project estimation

Works with leads to accurately compile an estimate for an agreed scope of work.

Responsibilities

  • Simultaneously manage a number of projects with different stakeholders
  • Create Statements of Work, cost estimates, payment schedules and manage project timelines and milestones to time and budget
  • Deliver an excellent level of service and consistently manage stakeholder expectations against key tasks and deliverables
  • Lead internal project team meetings in which the team learns about project needs and responses in a clear and concise manner
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues and be solutions and delivery focused
  • Manage all project-related communications, e.g. organise/lead meetings, write agendas and minutes, status reports and follow up on next actions. Actively document project decisions, progress and acceptance of deliverables.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager within a large-scale consumer facing organization, digital agency or media company.
  • Experience in different project management methodologies – Agile / Prince2 / Waterfall / Scrum / Kanban etc. with clear opinions on what to use when and why.
  • An expert in the tools of the trade – Gantt charts / Spreadsheets / Confluence etc.
  • Experience in using bug tracking tools such as Jira / Redmine / Trello etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Great eye for detail (i.e. quality control, proofing skills).
  • Ability to drive agile development sprints with planning sessions, showcases, and daily stand-ups.
  • Highly organised, strong work ethic, powerful internal drive and commitment to achieving wins as a team.
  • Technically savvy and digitally-minded.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
