We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack PHP Developer to join our team and work on our client's project. This is a remote, full-time position.

CLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION: The client name is MN Works EU LTD and they are in the adult industry (soft-core) and provides listing pages for escorts. The client has been in business for over 6 years and currently is made up of 12 people. The client uses GItlab for source control and collaboration, Wire for conference calls and Signal for secure messaging. They are flexible with vacations and try to provide a good work/life balance for the people working on the team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be adding new features and launching new sites and products. The core existing web application is built using PHP, MySQL, jQuery and Bootstrap. The client is open to migrating to a PHP framework (such as Symfony or Laravel) in the near future. You must be able to work at least 4 hours per day between the hours of 9am-5pm EST (the other 4 hours a day can be outside this window if necessary).

RELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH: You will be working with the lead developer on the project and other contract developers. The client is in the America/New York (-04:00) EDT time zone.

REQUIRED SKILLS: - PHP - Javascript - MySQL - HTML - CSS - Linux - Excellent written and spoken English - 5 years of professional web development experience primarily focused around user-facing PHP-based web applications in a production environment - Must be comfortable working long-term on a web application that serves the adult industry

START DATE: As soon as possible.

EXPECTED CONTRACT DURATION: Long-term (ongoing). Could last years.

COMPENSATION: The pay rate for this role is from $30 to $55 USD per hour, depending on experience and capability. This is an independent contract role (ie. freelance), so there are no benefits (ie. healthcare, vacation, sick pay) in addition to the hourly rate. You will be paid by Scalable Path, not the client.

NOTES: The client is open to people who can start part-time but can go full-time in the future.
