What You Will Be Doing
Responsible for billable client consulting that includes the production, modification and maintenance of our client’s web site and web application’s UI
Work closely with UI/UX Designers as well as our agency partners to interpret, optimize and enhance designs
Work with back-end developers at BlueModus to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability
Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end team for development
Must Haves
Genuine passion for front end development and interaction
Experience developing websites and microsites
Portfolio or live examples of code you produced
Knowledge of UX principles, web/mobile standards and ability to build them
Experience working with client graphic standards and brand guidelines
Understand asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Expert with web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Understand server-side CSS pre-processing platforms (SASS)
Experience with client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery)
Experience with code versioning tools (Git, Mercurial or SVN)
Experience with image authoring tools (Photoshop, Sketch, Figma)
Experience resolving cross-browser compatibility issues
Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and project stakeholders
Nice-to-Haves
Experience working with content management platforms such as Kentico, Sitecore, Sitefinity
Experience with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks (VUEJS, AngularJS) experience with
Experience with templating engines, such as PUG/JADE
Experience working at in an agency environment
Experience with agile/lean development
Understand SEO principles
Portfolio showcasing ability to produce creative concepts, layout, typography and user interface design
