DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·       Software Design - Game Changer applications are multiple pieces of software that are interconnected. Design each individual component (detailing the behaviors the component should have), define the ways in which those components communicate, and compile this informations into a formal document This ‘spec sheet’ is given to each development team to implement

 

·       DevOps - Code pushed to Git repositories is automatically built and deployed via a CI/CD system (CircleCI). Monitor the health of already created applications, and design new systems of continuous integration and deployment to meet the needs of new applications

 

 

·       Release Management - While most applications are deployed to the web or embedded in other applications, others are built to be release on the App/Play store. Know the release process of both iOS and Android platforms

 

·       Code Review - New code will be submitted daily by developers. It should be checked for errors and that it follows best practices

 

·       Client Communication - Strong communication skills to work with engineers from other companies, as Game Changer applications are often integrated into other companies products and applications

·       Staff Management - Manages software and development staff in day to day operations along with weekly calls and oversight of deadlines and deliverables

·       Internal Communication – Handles updates to all Game Changer staff relevant to deadlines, software and app updates, new game development and other interactive items as required

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

 

  • Minimum of a 4-year Bachelor’s degree or educational equivalent
  • High level communication skills dealing with internal and external parties
  • Strong personnel management, communication, time management and organizational skills. 
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines
  • Has had previous experience and possesses intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Gmail Suite
  • Excellent ability to work with and maintain positive work relationships with co-workers, managers, and executives and clients
  • Able to work flexible hours including evening, weekend, holidays as needed
  • Professional image and demeanor
  • Some travel to meet and work with clients or set up/work events
  • Possess very high degree of discretion and professionalism

·       Required proficiencies: Angular (not Angular1/AngularJS), Typescript, Git

·       Technologies used that will need to be learned: Pubnub, Google Cloud Platform, CircleCI, GitHub, Electron, Firebase

·       Additionally, Unreal Engine experience is helpful but not necessary

 

The perfect candidate is a self-starter who knows how to manage a team of people.  Previous game development and/or app development experience a must, basic knowledge of Unreal, Unity, JSON, IOS and Android Structure also is a plus. This is full time position that will allow for remote working. Our company is a virtual office where everyone works around the US and internationally.
