What it's like to work at Work Truck Solutions:

  • You'll be working on a development team of 4-5 developers

  • You'll be working in an Agile Scrum environment

  • You'll help finalize the concepts, specs and architecture of our rapidly evolving platform

This .NET developer position is located in our Chico, CA office.  There is the possibility of some remote time, but you'll be expected to be in Chico the majority of the time. Responsibilities

  • Build high quality, secure, and performant software according to specifications and timeframes while still raising questions and clarifying early as needed

  • Work and communicate with technical and non-technical teams.  (We're a very collaborative group)

  • Follow established coding standards and best practices and write readable, maintainable code

  • Create and maintain SQL queries for new and existing data structures

  • Communicate effectively with a distributed team, raising issues and concerns promptly

  • Contribute to the architecture of our cloud platform and software systems

Required Skills & Experience

  • Computer Science or related technical degree, or demonstrable equivalent expertise

  • 4+ years professional Object-Oriented Programming experience, preferably C#

  • 2+ years experience with database design and writing SQL queries, procedures and scripts

  • Experience in the .NET stack, including: Visual Studio, SQL Server, and the .NET Framework

  • Full stack web development experience including: responsive design, ASP.net MVC, JS, jQuery, and REST

  • Strong experience with concurrent development using Git or similar DVCS including: branching, pull requests, and merging. Experience with conflict resolution preferred

  • Ability to work independently and complete complex projects with little direction

  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new libraries, tools, and technologies

  • Experience with the Azure Cloud Platform is a plus

  • Experience writing robust third-party API client code is a plus

  • A healthy sense of humor and egoless approach to working with others.
