Engineers in this role work closely with both designers and platform engineers and must understand their perspectives, as well as be able to bring new ideas to the table.
Contribute to NearIT SDKs responsible for device registration, notification handling, audience segmentation, and analytics reporting.
Working with product and other engineering teams to design new features and public APIs.
Creating sample applications that showcase NearIT’s capabilities and allow for end-to-end product testing.
Committing your ideas to the product road map
Have deep understanding and experience with Objective-C/Swift
Track record of developing native iOS apps with excellent UX
Knowledge of iOS SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
Have client-side testing experience
Have worked with common APIs and libraries
Have worked with mobile sensors data collection (geolocation, mobile tilting movements, Bluetooth etc.).
Have a creative approach to debugging and problem-solving
Bonus points if you've already:
Be committed to standard engineering methodologies, including automated testing and continuous integration
Experience developing location-aware mobile applications
Integrated to connected devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
Developed a SDK or framework.
